An intake, exhaust, emblems, hood, trunk, suspension braces... Nevermind the fact that I bought the car yesterday and paid for school in the same hour. thankfully I haven't ordered any of said goodies but this is how I'm feeling...

I bought a car, bought an intake, floor liners, front plate mounting brackets, and muffler. Feels good.

I would recommend not modifying it, at least performance-wise, for a year. One, save yourself money in case anything happens. Two, get a great feel of the limits and characteristics of the car while it's still stock, that way you'll have a good idea of what parts you want to upgrade based off experience rather than "ooh, shiny, must buy" syndrome that tempts many of us.

That's a good idea. with the Stringbean it was easy to reach the performance limits... because there were really any. Going from 200hp fwd to 300hp rwd will take some getting used to. So looking into the show before the go may be wise

Mine is a front plate mounting. Car didn't come with one, but I don't need to give the police a reason to pull me over, so it's going on.

I never really understood the benefit of front plates to be honest. I'm in Va so godforbid you drive without one. But why?

To give something for the cops to look out for.

I believe it. We also have inspections here with the big year color changing each year so yours can stick out when expired.

Consider yourself lucky.

"Oh your brakes are 1.5mm under tolerance so here's a big failed sticker which means you can't drive anywhere but here and to a shop to get those abominations you call brakes fixed"

I'd recommend plotting your upgrades according to what you have to take off the car. Basically, do upgrades according to the Forza modification groups. (Platform & handling, Engine, that sort of thing.)
